Tourist visa

In accordance with clause 5 of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 16, 2020 No. 635-r, the processing and issuance of e-visas to foreign citizens has been temporarily suspended due to the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19)!!!

Single or double-entry tourist visa is issued for up to 90 days.

Multiple-entry visa is issued for up to 180 days. The total period of authorized stay cannot exceed 90 days.

To apply for a Tourist visa, an applicant should submit the following set of documents in person:

• Application available online at http://visa.kdmid.ru. All questions in the application form should be answered. If a question is not applicable to the applicant, he should put "N/A". Each application form must be signed by the visa applicant personally. Incomplete visa application forms shall not be processed. HANDWRITTEN APPLICATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED!!!;
• Valid national passport (original only and it should have at least two clear visa pages). It must be valid not less than six months after the visa expiration date;
• Visa support document:
  • 1) Tourist voucher from an authorized travel agency. 
  • 2) Booking confirmation from the hotel or a registered tourist accommodation provider (valid for all types of visas for the number of dates as per the booking).
  • These documents can be provided by the tourist companies or hotels approved by the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation ("Rostourism"). 
  • Booking confirmation/tourist voucher should be signed by an authorized employee of the hotel/accommodation/tourist agency, stamped and should consist of the following:

    1) Title: "Booking confirmation of a hotel/tourist voucher", reference number and the date of issue.

    2) The official name of the hotel/tourist agency, its actual address and registration number in "The unified list of classified hotels, ski slopes and beaches"/"Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators".

    3) The details of the foreign tourist (last name, forenames, date of birth, gender, citizenship, passport/travel document number).

    4) The dates of arrival and departure from the Russian Federation.

    5) Other information about the conditions of booking (at the discretion of the hotel).
  •  The copy of this document is accepted;
• Copy of the medical insurance valid in Russia and fully covering the period of the trip;
• Travel document (flight ticket, etc.), confirming the dates of the trip;
• One photo (passport size) should be glued to the visa application;
• Copy of the main page of the passport;
• Copy of the residence permit for non-Omani citizens.

Visa application process takes 1 week - normal, 3 days - urgent.
