Business or humanitarian visa
To apply for a single, double or multiple Business or Humanitarian visa an applicant should submit the following set of documents:
- Application available online at http://visa.kdmid.ru. All questions in the application form should be answered. If a question is not applicable to the applicant, he should put "N/A". Each application form must be signed by the visa applicant personally. Incomplete visa application forms shall not be processed. HANDWRITTEN APPLICATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED!!!
- Valid national passport (original only and it should have at least two clear visa pages). It must be valid not less than six months after the visa expiration date;
- Visa Support document which is provided by your Russian host organization through Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia or the Invitation from your Russian host which is issued by the Federal Migration Service or its local office (only original of the document is accepted).
- Medical insurance valid in Russia and fully covering the period of the trip;
- Travel document (flight ticket, etc.), confirming the dates of the trip;
- One standard picture;
- Copies of the main page of the passport and the residence visa.
NOTE
EU passport holders can also attach a written statement from the host organization as a Visa Support Document, which should give: the full name of the host organization, its official address, contact information and the individual taxpayer number (if the host organization is a legal entity or enterprise, an institution, or their affiliate established in the territory of the Russian Federation), the surname, first name, patronymic, and position of the person who signed the statement, and basic information regarding the visa applicant: the surname, first name, other names, date of birth, citizenship, sex, passport number, multiplicity of the visa, purpose of travel, requested period of entry, location of intended residence of the visa applicant, and the cities to be visited.
